Filiming at Other State Parks on Whidbey Island

Whidbey Island is home to eight gorgeous State Parks. All of them are on the coast, and feature stunning views of Puget Sound and nearby mountains. Many provide camping, and all the amenities to go along with it.

Among the parks, you will find rocky and sandy beaches, old growth forests, walking trails, and abundant wildlife. Other features include a historic lighthouse and two decommissioned coastal defense forts.
These other parks are Fort Casey, Fort Ebey, South Whidbey, Joseph Whidbey, Ebey's Landing, Possession Point, and Keystone Spit.
For filming requests, park staff must consider potential negative impacts on visitors or resources before approving a site. They can sometimes accommodate requests on short notice, but it will depend on the site and requested activity, so as much notice as possible is preferred. Use of drones must be approved at the assistant director level, so this will take longer for a permit approval.
If you are interested in filming at any Whidbey State Park other than Deception Pass (see specific info page here...), please contact Sharon Young-Hale.
