Whidbey Island – central to Puget Sound, was one of the first places Europeans settled in the Northwest. It was central to a culture of ships.
The railroad changed all that, leaving much of Central Whidbey suspended in time.
The Haller House is from that era. It’s currently abandoned, and in private hands. This is a rare look inside.
