Enjoy holiday music from the All Island Band and the CUKES Ukulele Group\, meet Santa\, and take part in fun children’s activities. \n\n\n\nGates to the main park area close at 5 p.m. so please park in the picnic area day use parking lot. Look for event signs for where to park. From the picnic area day use parking lot\, follow the trail from the parking lot to the lighthouse. \n\n\n\nBring a flashlight for extra light as you walk the trail. The event is weather dependent and will be cancelled if there are high wind warnings or heavy rain.  \n\n\n\nAdmission is free\, and donations to the Keepers of Admiralty Head Lighthouse are welcomed\, no registration required. A Discover Pass or $10 day parking fee is required for parking.

Fall is the perfect season to forage a variety of gourmet and medicinal mushrooms\, making it an ideal time for discovery and adventure. \n\n\n\nPublic Group Tours \n\n\n\nMeet at South Whidbey Tilth Farmers Market . You can choose from two time slots: a morning session from 9:00am to 12:00pm or an afternoon session from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. I will hand out informational booklets to everybody that are yours to keep to help support and continue your learning. Then we will dive straight into a 30-45 minute information packed and illustrated presentation about mushrooms and foraging for mushrooms. Many mushrooms will be on display and labeled for your viewing and learning pleasure. After the discussion we will then drive in our own vehicles to our tour location not far away where I have previously scouted out to be sure the area is fruitful for us. From there we will venture into the forest to see what we can find and of course we will be chit chatting about everything mushrooms along the way and whatever else we all feel like talking about. Dogs are not allowed on public tours. If you’re coming from Seattle you’ll want to take the Mukilteo Ferry.Public Group Tour (10 seats available per tour):  $75 per person \n\n\n\nPrivate Tours \n\n\n\nare offered on Sunday’s and weekdays during my public group tour season and 7 days a week outside of the season (as long as mushrooms are present which in the Pacific Northwest is nearly year round). You have your choice between a morning 9:00am to 12:00pm or an afternoon 1:00pm to 4:00pm For private tours we do not meet at South Whidbey Tilth Farmers Market but instead will meet at a tour destination that I have previously scouted out to be sure the area is fruitful for us. DESCRIPTION:Whidbey Wild Mushroom Tours | Saturday’s thru December 19\, 2026\n\n\n\nStep into the pristine forests of beautiful Whidbey Island and uncover the fascinating fungi that thrive among us! Fall is the perfect season to forage a variety of gourmet and medicinal mushrooms\, making it an ideal time for discovery and adventure. \n\n\n\nPublic Group Tours \n\n\n\nMeet at South Whidbey Tilth Farmers Market . You can choose from two time slots: a morning session from 9:00am to 12:00pm or an afternoon session from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. I will hand out informational booklets to everybody that are yours to keep to help support and continue your learning. Then we will dive straight into a 30-45 minute information packed and illustrated presentation about mushrooms and foraging for mushrooms. Many mushrooms will be on display and labeled for your viewing and learning pleasure. After the discussion we will then drive in our own vehicles to our tour location not far away where I have previously scouted out to be sure the area is fruitful for us. From there we will venture into the forest to see what we can find and of course we will be chit chatting about everything mushrooms along the way and whatever else we all feel like talking about. Dogs are not allowed on public tours. If you’re coming from Seattle you’ll want to take the Mukilteo Ferry.Public Group Tour (10 seats available per tour):  $75 per person \n\n\n\nPrivate Tours \n\n\n\nare offered on Sunday’s and weekdays during my public group tour season and 7 days a week outside of the season (as long as mushrooms are present which in the Pacific Northwest is nearly year round). You have your choice between a morning 9:00am to 12:00pm or an afternoon 1:00pm to 4:00pm For private tours we do not meet at South Whidbey Tilth Farmers Market but instead will meet at a tour destination that I have previously scouted out to be sure the area is fruitful for us. DESCRIPTION:Langley Mystery Weekend: February 27 & 28\, 2027\n\n\n\nCelebrating 42 Years of Murders in Langley!Mystery Weekend invites amateur detectives to comb the seaside village of Langley for clues\, question a cast of quirky characters\, and crack a fictional murder case. Along the way\, you’ll be guessing\, laughing\, dining\, and shopping your way through this engaging two-day event. \n\n\n\nEvery February since 1984 there’s been a murder in Langley\, and every year the town invites amateur sleuths to solve the mystery. DESCRIPTION:Penn Cove Musselfest Saturday & Sunday March 6 & 7\, 2027 \n\n\n\nThe Penn Cove Mussel Festival is a culinary celebration of the mussels grown offshore from Coupeville. These tasty mollusks quickly grow in the clean river-fed waters of Penn Cove. Each year area restaurants compete to see who can serve the best chowder\, and those who buy tasting tickets get the chance to vote on who is the winner! \n\n\n\nThere are also mussel cooking demonstrations by both local and regional chefs. There are beer gardens with live music and plenty of shopping in downtown Coupeville. Buy a ticket\, take a boat tour of the mussel beds\, and finish the day by watching who can chow down on mussels the fastest. \n\n\n\nStay tuned for more details!\n\n\n\nFor additional information click HERE
