Know Your Weeds Workshop

Learn about weeds, how to identify key noxious weeds, removal techniques, and property owner responsibilities. Workshops feature SETH LUGINBILL of Island County Noxious Weed Control Board sharing his extensive knowledge of weeds and tools for removal.

The March 11 workshop at Barn A at Greenbank Farm lasts two hours (10:30 am to 12:30 pm).

Subsequent workshops (4/14 Poison Hemlock | 6/23 Tansy Ragwort | 8/11 Thistles) start at 10 am and last 45 minutes with a focus on a particular weed that is blooming. These 3 workshops are followed by hands-on training and practice with removal techniques, while you clear weeds to benefit Greenbank Farm. Rain or shine; come prepared for weather.
