Sea Level Rise in Puget Sound

Join us in welcoming Ian Miller, a representative of Washington Sea Grant, for an informative and interactive presentation on the effects of climate change-driven sea level rise in the Puget Sound region.

Dr. Ian Miller, Washington Sea Grant’s coastal hazards specialist, is an adept science communicator and media spokesperson, in addition to being a trained scientist. He is based at Peninsula College in Port Angeles, where he collaborates with coastal communities and public agencies in Washington State to enhance their capacity to prepare for and manage coastal hazards, such as chronic erosion, tsunamis, coastal flooding, and other hazards that arise from climate change.
