South Whidbey Tilth Market

July 23, 2017 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Vegetables at a farmers market.

More than a just a market, South Whidbey Tilth is dedicated to the growth, preservation, and understanding of quality food.  For shoppers, this means the market provides more than just food, it supplies a learning experience.  Expect the best in timely and fresh local produce along with entertainment each Sunday during the market’s season.
At the July 23rd Tilth Farmers’ Market, Shanachie, a south-island duo composed of Ellen Donaldson and Joe Perez, will perform a wide selection of well-known and some not so well-known folk, country, and Americana songs. Joanne Martinis of Windy Hill Farm will offer a free workshop for children on making felted soap bars—take home what you make! Shop for fresh produce, locally handmade crafts, and enjoy breakfast or lunch from the Laughing Cat Café, Ed’s Good Food, or Lesedi African Cuisine. Market hours are 11-2. There’s plenty of parking, a children’s play area and crafts, free Wi-Fi and clean restrooms. SNAP and Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (WIC & Senior FMNP) customers are welcome. As always, seeking new vendors. Look for the scarecrow on Hwy. 525 at 2812 Thompson Road, Langley. For more information contact Market Manager Emma at 360-321-0757 or email [email protected]
