The Whidbey Island Music Festival Presents: “Day of Keyboards”

Saturday, September 28th, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at St. Augustine’s in-the-Woods (5217 S Honeymoon Bay Rd, Freeland, WA) Music lovers will have the rare opportunity to hear some of the Northwest’s leading historical keyboard players showcase a fascinating array of instruments, including the lautenwerk, clavichord, harpsichord, fortepiano, and organ. In addition to recitals, each performer will hold a Q&A session, offering insight into the music and the intricacies of these extraordinary instruments.
The event will feature performances by prominent musicians, including Henry Lebedinsky (clavichord and organ), David Buice (lautenwerk), Byron Schenkman (harpsichord), and a special collaboration between Tamara Friedman (fortepiano) and Tekla Cunningham (classical violin).
Coffee, tea, pastries, and light snacks will be served, and guests are welcome to bring a lunch to enjoy during the midday break.

Tickets are $35 and free for students.
