Whidbey and Camano Island have many pretty beaches with that “forest and ocean” cool weather vibe.

    Cavalero Beach

    With eastern views from Camano Island of the Cascades and the mainland, and parking designed for pickups pulling boat trailers, this Island County Park is useful for establishing shots, sunrises, sunsets off the mountain snow. There is a boat launch.  There are neighbors nearby. Contact:

    Camano Island Inn offers six romantic rooms, each with a waterfront balcony. The Inn is situated on the west coast of the island, with spectacular views of Saratoga Passage. Other features include a fine dining restaurant and bar.  The property has a small beach accessed via a staircase.

    Cama Beach State Park

    Cama Beach looks out over beautiful Saratoga Passage, Whidbey Island, and the Cascade Mountains. Cedar bungalows and cabins line the waterfront in a 1930s era fishing resort that visitors can still stay at today.

    Located on the west coast of Camano Island, this State Park is 173 acres, with over a mile of beautiful coastline. It features beautiful views over Puget Sound and plenty of campsites and cabins.
