Parking
There is no parking at the park. The event takes up the park area and parking lot. Those with handicapped stickers may park across from the park. For everyone else, the best advice is to park at the Trinity Church park and ride lot and wait for a shuttle to bring you to the park.
For more than 100 years, the Maxwelton Independence Day Parade has marched through this small unincorporated community. From school bands to 4-H clubs to civic groups, everyone who is anyone marches in this parade. The parade begins at noon. Registration and shuttle service begins at 10:30 a.m.
It wouldn't be a parade around here without a family on an old tractor.

Walking in a parade while playing a xylophone takes talent and balance. This is from the Maxwelton Parade.
