Boat Launches

    • Bush-Point-3083

    Bush Point

    The Bush Point boat ramp is a popular launch for the west side of Whidbey Island. Amenities include a floating dock, parking nearby, and a small park.

    Camano Island State Park is a 134-acre camping park with 6,700 feet of rocky shoreline and beach. The park provides sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and offers opportunities for shellfish harvesting.

    Amenities include a floating dock and boat trailer parking. Picnic tables, barbecues, and a public restroom are also available.

    Cavalero Beach County Park

    This park, located on the eastern side of Camano Island, has a beautiful view of the Cascades, picnic facilities, and a boat ramp.   There is a fee to use the ramp, $5 a day for residents, $15 for non-residents.

    Cornet Bay Marina

    Cornet Bay Marina is in Deception Pass State Park and offers moorage, beach access, a full-service store, and fuel. There is also a boat launch and hiking.

    Dave Mackie Park

    The boat ramp is currently closed due to buildup of sand. The 5 acre park is open. Amenities include Playground, Restroom Facility Including Shower and Dog Wash, Beach Access, Ball field & Grandstand, 3 Picnic Shelters & BBQ’s for individual events, Group Picnic Shelter Area with Brick Stove BBQ.

    Freeland Park – Holmes Harbor

    With a great view of Holmes Harbor, this park is a local favorite. Besides a boat ramp and dock, amenities include a picnic area with BBQ grills, covered picnic shelters, pavilion with picnic table and BBQ Grill, restrooms, playgrounds, and walking trails.     Keystone Spit Boat Ramp

    This boat ramp, a part of Fort Casey State Park, has ample parking for $10 a day or a Washington Discover Pass.  Amenities include a restroom with shower.

    This one acre park has beach access, great water views, limited parking for cars and trailers and a boat launch. Boat Launch fees are: Daily fee Residents $5.00 Non Residents $15.00

    Mariners Cove Boat Ramp

    This boat ramp is located in a small, 1/4 acre, county park that has access to Saratoga Passage.  There is limited parking and is in a residential area.

    This landing offers access to Penn Cove from the north side of the cove.  Amenities include parking and interpretive signs.

    • Mutiny-Bay-Boat-Launch

    Mutiny Bay

    This launch has ample parking for boat trailers about 200 yards from the launch.  A small county park, Frank Robinson Park, is next to the launch and offers beach access.  It is not usable at low tide.

    Oak Harbor Marina’s boat ramp is part of the Oak Harbor Marina and is located south of the marina.  It’s located about a half-mile from downtown Oak Harbor.

    Possession Beach Waterfront Park

    This newly renovated boat launch is popular for boaters at the south end of Whidbey Island and provides access to both Saratoga Passage and Admiralty Inlet.

    The marina features 41 slips, 330 feet of linear moorage, restrooms, showers, free Wi-Fi, and a boat ramp.  Kayaks rentals and lessons are also offered.

    This is a small park, only 1/2 acre in size, but with picnicking and classically beautiful views across the water to the Cascade Mountain Range.

    Windjammer Park is a 28.5 acre waterfront park that is Oak Harbor’s major community park with baseball fields, basketball courts, picnic areas, a splash park, a playground and more.
