D. O. Pearson House

Built in 1890, the D.O. Pearson House was the home of the first mayor of Stanwood.  Pearson named the area Stanwood, which was his wife’s maiden name.  The house was placed on the National and State Registers of Historic Places in 1973.  It now serves as a museum.
