Poster shows a photo of a weaved basket and has the same information as this listing.

February 10 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Have you always wanted to learn basket weaving?

Are you looking for a new, fun hobby?

Local fiber artist Regina (Reggie) Kastler, Owner of Basket Works NW, who has been in business for 35 years, will teach you the skills to make a lovely little basket. Reggie comes from a long line of fiber artists and has years of experience teaching this art.

For the first half hour, Reggie will demonstrate, and then you can try it for yourself from 1:30-3 PM.

Children are welcome to try with a supervising adult.

While you are there, you can explore the new exhibit at the museum- Fabulous Fiber Art Through The Ages, including needle-felted animals and historical items.

The event is free, but donations are appreciated.
