Black Friday Walk: Meerkerk Gardens

Take a healthy break from shopping frenzy and Thanksgiving leftovers! Holiday visitors and islanders alike will enjoy the quiet wonders of a guided walk through our curated gardens and legacy forest. Evergreen trees and foliage, wildlife, colorful autumn leaves and berries, and even a few rhododendrons in bloom are some of the seasonal treasures our docents will show you.
The walk will start at 1 PM at the Gatehouse and last approximately 1.5 hours. Dress for the weather in warm layers, water resistant shoes, hats and gloves. Cameras and dogs on leashes are welcome. The walk may be cancelled due to high winds.
The cost is $15 per person. The walk is free for Friends of Meerkerk and children under 13.
