Eleonora Karpukhova in Concert: WICA

Experience the captivating keyboard artistry of Russian pianist Eleonora Karpukhova—no need to travel 5,000 miles to Moscow! On February 1, she will grace the stage at the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts in Langley.
Join us in February to welcome Eleonora for her third performance at WICA. We are thrilled to have her, especially as she cherishes her connections on Whidbey Island and loves performing at WICA. Come, relax, and immerse yourself in an evening of beautiful music!
Eleonora Karpukhova, Associate Professor at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory and winner of numerous international competitions, began her musical journey at age 5 in Kazan. Hailed as “the finest pianist of her generation,” she has captivated audiences worldwide since 2014. Known for her Rachmaninov recordings, she recently performed an eight-concert series at the Conservatory honoring his 150th birth anniversary.
This special program will showcase the works of Bach, Ravel, Bartok, and Rachmaninov.
