Please join us 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 6 The Freeland Art Studios will slide open its giant doors to the public for their annual Open House event on Saturday, June 6.
We have 11 artists working in a variety of media, including:

Lane Tompkins (stone and bronze sculpture)
Sue Taves (stone sculpture)
Alexandra Morosco (stone and bronze sculpture)
Matt Monforte (painting and web/graphic design)
Benjamin Mefford (stone sculpture)
Charles LaFond (domestic pottery)
Carol Rose Dean (ceramic tile)
Penelope Crittenden (stone sculpture)
Ken Barnes (stone sculpture)
Tristan Moehs (stone sculpture and our newest studio member)
Freeland Art Studios over 7000 sq feet of unique industrial-quality professional studio space shared by these artists, the original FAS artists have been working in this space since 2004.
A first-time feature of this Annual Open House will be a Retrospective Sale by one of our artists. Lane Tompkins, after 26 years of carving stone is hanging up his stone tools (in favor of clay tools) and is offering more than 30 unique sculptures in marble, limestone, and alabaster. Because Lane won’t be paying gallery commissions and wants to make room for future work, these distinctive, one-of-a-kind sculptures are priced at well below market value to clear inventory. Some are small for a coffee table, some are large for gardens and pedestals, and they are all unique creations with fascinating stories.
Freeland Art Studios is located at 1660 Roberta Ave, Freeland, WA behind the WAIF Thrift Store. (The Freeland Art Studios complex is off RT 525 just south of the Main Street stoplight. Turn off 525 on Harbor Ave and take an immediate left onto Roberta Ave between Wells Fargo and Whidbey Island Banks. From Main Street take Lotto Ave just past the Freeland Café.
