Freeland Wetlands Preserve Stewardship Day | Earth Month Volunteer Event | April 11th
Celebrate Earth & Ocean Month by giving back to nature at the Freeland Wetlands Preserve on South Whidbey Island. Join the Whidbey Watershed Stewards for a hands-on stewardship day focused on maintaining trails, removing invasive plants, and planting native trees that support healthy wetlands habitat.
Volunteers of all experience levels are welcome. This community work party helps protect one of South Whidbey’s important wetland ecosystems while providing a great opportunity to connect with neighbors and learn about local habitat restoration.
