Greta Matassa – Ott & Hunter

Greta Matassa has earned widespread recognition for her exceptional talent as a jazz vocalist, having been voted the best in the Northwest by the readers of Earshot Jazz magazine a staggering 8 times, including in 2021. Her illustrious career was further honored when she was inducted into the Seattle Jazz Hall of Fame in 2014. Greta’s new band, comprised of guitarist Brian Monroney, bassist Clipper Anderson, and saxophonist Alexey Nikolaev, have performed in some of the finest jazz clubs and concert venues in the region.

With a contemporary jazz flair, Greta’s show showcases all-new material and arrangements. The setlist includes a mix of fresh tunes, as well as beloved classics by legendary artists such as George Shearing, Bill Evans, Chick Corea, and Dave Brubeck. Greta and her band also draw upon an eclectic selection of songs from her extensive 11-album discography, which includes jazz interpretations of songs by Stevie Wonder, Sting, Bonnie Raitt, Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, and Brazilian composers.
