In this daring new Macbeth, acclaimed physical theatre artists James Donlon and Alina Ceñal bring explosive movement and humanity to the bard’s infamous power-couple. Under 3-time ISF alum Jackie Apodaca’s fresh directorial vision, our story asks: what if Macbeth isn’t ruthless, but overlooked—an aging soldier grasping for one last chance to make a difference in a world ruled by nepotism and folly? Through raw physical storytelling, this Macbeth pulses with urgency, tenderness, and the tragic cost of wanting to make an impact before it’s too late.
