Little BIG Fest, South Whidbey’s own music and arts festival, is hosting a concert on Cinco de Mayo featuring the famous local rock band PETE at the Whidbey Island Fairgrounds. This is a benefit to help raise money to cover the pre-event expenses for hosting a 3-day music festival.
“We are bubbling over with excitement about the return of Little BIG Fest,” remarks Keegan Harshman, producer, and organizer of Little BIG Fest set for August 11 – 13 at the fairgrounds. “Each year we missed has been difficult, to say the least, but it gave us time to put intention into how, where, and when the festival would return so we can create the best experience possible for our community,” Keegan adds. “We can’t wait to share space and make amazing memories with all of you beautiful people at Little BIG Fest and our fundraiser concert series leading up to the festival. We’ll see you there!”
“The Whidbey Island Fairgrounds & Events Center is very excited to be hosting Little BIG Fest and two benefit shows,” Says David Stern, Marketing and Event Coordinator at the Fairgrounds. “The last few years, there has been a high demand for events like this, and it is so great to see Little BIG Fest come back after the pandemic. Music festivals are such an important part of the human experience and help form the cultural fabric of our Island”, finished David.
