Meerkerk Gardens Spring Nursery Opening

The most anticipated time of year is coming up quickly at Meerkerk Gardens. March marks the start of bloom season. This magical time also coincides with the spring opening of our specialty nursery.

We hope you stop by March 12-13 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. for our Spring Nursery Opening Sale. We have more than 200 varieties of rhododendrons in stock. This year, if you purchase four rhodies in 1-gallon pots, you will get 10 percent off your purchase. If you are a Friend of Meerkerk member, you will get an additional 10 percent off any plant purchase.

Nursery manager Virginia Keck recommends three varieties with very distinct foliage. “Rhodies are known for their beautiful foliage,” she said. “Here are three that are nothing like each other.”
