Practically Magic Movie Night: A Spellbinding Evening in an Iconic Setting – October 24th, 25th & 26th. Join us for a bewitching evening in historic Coupeville, WA as we celebrate Practical Magic in the town where the quintessential witchy film was brought to life!
Practically Magic is your chance to live out the October of your dreams, surrounded by the beauty of a historic town that comes alive with Halloween spirit. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, there’s enchantment here for everyone!
Don your most enchanting costumes and get ready for a night of magic, fun, and community spirit.
This is a 21+ event with margaritas, beer and wine available for purchase. Must bring ID for entry!

- Doors Open at 6:00pm | Come early to enjoy music, beverages, local merchants, and good company!
- Costume Contest 7:00 pm | Show off your witchy attire or channel your favorite Practical Magic character. Prizes await the most magical costumes!
- Trivia & Filming Anecdotes 7:30 pm | Test your knowledge of the movie with Practical Magic trivia and hear behind-the-scenes stories from the iconic filming location.
- Movie 8:00 pm | It’s showtime! Lights go down at 8:00 PM for everyone’s favorite witchy classic.
Event Highlights:
- Midnight Margaritas, Beer & Wine: Our bewitching bartenders will be serving up Midnight Margaritas, along with beer and wine, to keep the spirits high throughout the night. Non-alcoholic options will be available. Last call at 7:45 PM.
- Music & Popcorn: Enjoy a curated playlist that sets the perfect mood, and of course, complimentary popcorn for the full movie experience.
- Movie Screening: The evening culminates with a screening of Practical Magic at 8 pm, in the town that served as the backdrop for Maria’s Island.

Torchlight Parade & Street Dance: A Nostalgic Halloween Celebration October 26th (Drop by the Halloweekend Spells & Brews Garden from 3:00-7:00pm while you wait for the parade, and relax by the fire pits as you sip on craft beers and ciders.)
