April 14 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Sip your favorite brew while you learn a thing or two! The Sip & Science series is meant to offer an informal, welcoming environment to learning about the world around you. No science background necessaryjust a thirst for knowledge!

What is socially responsible investing? What’s it to you? A brief presentation followed by Q&A.

Tom Nowak, CFP, is a local hourly, fee-only, financial adviser. He changed careers after 30 years as a scientist. He is a member of the Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment in the US (US SIF), and the author of two books, Low Fee Socially Responsible Investing (2012) and Low Fee Vegan Investing (2014).
