Sound Water Stewards Speaker Series | Harvest the Rain February 21st

Harvest the Rain: How to Build Your Own Rain Barrel – Scott Chase will demonstrate how to harvest the rain to provide your indoor and outdoor plants with naturally soft water Learn what materials are needed, where to get them, and how to make your own barrel at a fraction of the cost of buying one.

Scott, Beach Watchers class of 2002, coordinated the WSU Shore Stewards program for 13 years as well as Beach Watchers on Camano, and since 2006 has held several classes on rain barrels and water conservation. He is currently an active volunteer for Sound Water Stewards, WSU Waste Wise, and Lighthouse Environmental Programs.
