To celebrate the New Year & First Day Hikes, today is a State Parks “free day” when a Discover Pass is not required to visit a state park. Details here…

First Day Hikes

Cama Beach State Park – 9:00 a.m.
Cranberry Lake
Meet at the drop-off shelter at Cama Beach
Leashed dogs are allowed
No registration required

Howard Adams Trail
Meet at the drop off shelter
Beginner-Friendly
Leashed dogs are allowed
No registration required

Deception Pass State Park – 9:00 a.m.
Meet at the Cornet Bay Retreat Center

Enjoy treats and a warm drink before breaking into groups to explore.
Leashed dogs are allowed

Trail Options:
Discovery Trail Hike (Easy, 1.1 miles) – No registration required

Goose Rock Perimeter Hike (Medium, 2.25 miles) – No registration required

Goose Rock Summit Hike (Hard, 2.30 miles) – No registration required

Family Hike – Pre-registration required
