Summer Concert Series at the Coupeville Town Park PavilionÂ
Join us every third Sunday in 2026, June through September, in Coupeville Town Park Pavilion.
The Coupeville Creative District is thrilled to announce the 2026 Summer Music Series, a free community concert series celebrating the best of local talent. The series runs on the third Sunday of each month from June through September 2026 and will showcase a rotating lineup of singers, bands, and musical ensembles from Whidbey Island and beyond.
About the Series
These family-friendly concerts are free to the public and created to spotlight the creativity and musical diversity of our region. Expect an upbeat mix of genres — rock, jazz, brass, and more — performed by local musicians and community ensembles. The Coupeville Creative District aims to create an afternoon of live music, community gathering, and celebration of local arts.
What to Expect

- Bring a lawn chair or blanket — casual, picnic-style atmosphere
- Rain-or-shine format (venues and weather policy to be announced)
- Opportunities to support artists and community arts programming through voluntary donations and local vendor booths

Sunday, June 21 | Island Jazz Collective:
The Island Jazz Collective brings finger snapping, toe tapping, knee slapping danceable tunes to every performance. Drawing from the Great American Songbook of Swing, Blues, Bossa Novas, and Ballads, the Island Jazz Collective has performed familiar Jazz standards from Oak Harbor to Clinton for over ten years. The Whidbey Island based jazz combo includes Dr. Bob Wagner on Piano, Don Wodjenski on Saxophone, Baz Stevens on Bass, Bruce Towne on Drums, and features Window Goya on Vocals.
Sunday, July 19 | Ike and the Old Man:
IKE AND THE OLD MAN play an eclectic mix of music, spanning decades of well known classic pop, rock, blues, country and jazz. The band began as a father-son duo over 10 years ago with Isaac and Mark Wacker performing at local events here on Whidbey Island. The band now features the precision beats of Kent Turner on drums, and multi-instrumentalist Ray Shelly on everything! They also have the good fortune of working with the best in the biz, their good friend and extraordinary sound engineer, Fish (Gregg Salmon).
Sunday, August 16 | Hot Club of Troy-jazz:
The Hot Club of Troy will perform an afternoon of exhilarating hot jazz and captivating musical history. The group, led by guitarist Troy Chapman, and joined by bassist Jonti Siman, pianist Gary Wittlich, guitarist Patrick Brooks, and special guests, has a rich history of performing at prestigious Django Reinhardt festivals worldwide, including the renowned Djangofest Northwest.Â
Their music is a testament to the brilliance of Django Reinhardt, one of the most influential guitarists in history. The Hot Club of Troy’s music is characterized by its propulsive rhythm and swinging melodies, creating an irresistible groove that will keep your feet tapping long after the performance. Beyond their musical prowess, the trio also offers insights into the history of hot jazz and the life of Django Reinhardt himself. The afternoon promises to be a delightful experience, filled with amazing music and fascinating stories.
Sunday, September 20 | Saratoga Orchestra Brass and Percussion Ensemble:
The Saratoga Orchestra Brass and Percussion Ensemble will perform a range of musical styles, with guest artists including Harbor Brass. This is an outdoor, family friendly park performance. Concessions and activities for kids.
