Sunnyside Cemetery Memorial Day Tour

Local historian Patrick Hussey will introduce you to and share the stories of some of the early settlers of Whidbey Island. Learn what brought them and how they shaped their new environment. A special hour-long tour will illuminate why this cemetery ranks high among Washington’s most important territorial burial grounds.

Admission is by donation, and please pay at the tour.

The George Morris Legion Post 129 will host a Memorial Day ceremony at 1pm at the cemetery.  Everyone is welcome.
