Whidbey Art Gallery: July Happenings
July 5, 2025 @ 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Join us for this month’s First Saturday Langley Art Walk on July 5th, from 5:00–7:00pm.
Featured artist Lynda Ransley, along with guest artists Tiffany Scribner and Jerry Hill, will be joined by other member artists to share their work, chat about their creative process, and offer a glass of wine and chocolates.
Featured Artist
Lynda Ransley works in a range of media, including paintings, wood and metal. For the month of July, she is featuring steel wall sculptures created specifically for the “Featured Artist” show. Sculptures were hand shaped to showcase the grace and artistry of both water and land plants. Mounted in custom-made wood frames, they create space and shadows as they hang.
Guest Artists
Tiffany Scribner is a Whidbey Island, multidisciplinary artist and artistic adventurer. Her first art language is paint but she also works in stone and silver. She loves seeing the beauty that nature offers in all her wonders. Her work is informed by a Masters In Fine Art in Scenic Design and Painting for Theatre, and over fifteen years of efforts in the field.
Jerry Hill grew up in the pacific northwest and has studied form line design, as well as the history and culture of the region. His jewelry, wood carving, and sculpture, was recognized by the First Nations Tribes, and acknowledged over 10 years ago. He taught carving at the U of Alaska, in Juneau and has had commissions by various native tribal leaders. His local public art commissions are located at the Transit Offices outside of Coupeville, and in Sequim.
Whidbey Art Gallery is a collective of 34 artists. We highlight a wide variety of media including, oil, acrylic and encaustic painting, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, and metal work.
Open daily 10:00am-5:00pm
