Take a deep breath and exhale at “Goldilocks,” a luxury, west-facing waterfront home in Greenbank on charming Whidbey Island, WA, where families have been making the pilgrimage to its soothing shores and majestic views since the 1930s, and the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of those early pioneers still return to relax in some of the very same cottages of their youth. Today, Whidbey Island is a rewarding mix of old and new, from its eclectic laid-back seaside retreats to its numerous restaurants. Greenbank is located on the southwest end of historic Whidbey Island, which is a 55-mile scenic shore tucked quietly between bustling Seattle, Washington, and the remote San Juan Islands. Speckled with artsy villages, endless views of Puget Sound, upscale shops, funky art studios, world-class restaurants, and thousands of acres of protected habitats, Whidbey Island is home to hundreds of hiking and biking trails, whale-watching vistas, and some of the most beautiful views in the world. Goldilocks is just a short ride to Coupeville, Langley, Greenbank, Freeland, and Clinton.

Goldilocks is exquisitely decorated to appreciate its open layout and panoramic view of the ocean and Olympic Mountains. Lounge in a grand room with impeccable craftsmanship or take in the sights and sounds coming from the cobalt blue water from the patio. Walk down to the private cliffside perch and enjoy the sunset with a cool glass of wine and fine cheese from one of the many artisanal markets nearby. It’s not just a rental – it’s a home away from home.

The renter must be 25 years or older and must be staying at the property throughout the rental period.

There is a boat launch in close driving distance at Bush Point as well. Driving directions are included at check-in.
