Heron Rook Cottage is a cozy, art filled cottage within walking distance to Langley. There’s a great gourmet kitchen (no dishwasher), pocket water views from the main floor and a 180 view of Saratoga Passage from the second floor where the bedrooms are located. AVAILABLE FOR MONTHLY RENT

You will have access to the whole house, patios, barbecue and surrounding gardens.
Heron Rook Cottage is full of custom art, some created by us, and artifacts collected on world travels. It is like staying in a gallery. The master has a bedroom 180 view of Saratoga Passage from three large picture windows. So relaxing! The second bedroom is like sleeping in a tree house. Children and adults love how cozy it is. It is on the other side of the house, making both rooms private with relaxing restful spaces where you can sleep in the refreshing island quiet.

The cottage is a very unique space. There are stairways to the bedrooms, and one must go down the stairs to the bathroom just like the old house of yesteryear. The stairs to the loft bedroom are like attic stairs–because they are! They are non-conforming. Please take a look at the photos to make sure that your guests are able to make their way up and down

Heron Rook Cottage is just .7 miles walking distance to town on Saratoga Road. The Cottage is located on a 2-acre parcel with a long driveway through a tall stand of cedars. It’s a very private, quite location. Our new home is located toward the bluff in front of the cottage. We are in and out and around, always willing to help with any need that may arise

Whidbey Island is great for bicycling too. There are excellent nearby rides of all levels of difficulty, with some great destinations too. We are experienced bicyclists who can help you determine the best routes for our vacation by bike. There is also a peaceful lake nearby for swimming on hot days at a little public park. Goss Lake, I love it! Beach walks and trails are nearby too, as are some really wonderful dining choices.
