The Whidbey Island Fairgrounds & Events Center has the largest space on the south end of the island. The Pole Building is a 3,040 square-foot barn with high ceilings, a three-foot-high stage, and large sliding barn doors. It accommodates 250 theater style and 300 for a reception and has access to nearby restrooms. The attached, but separate commercial kitchen may also be rented. The attached 1,000 square foot Pole Dining Room accommodates up to 60 seated guests. The Coffman Building seats up to 100 guests and has restrooms within the building and a rentable commercial kitchen. The three remaining red barns have high ceilings and exterior lighting. At 5,000 square feet, the Turner Building is the largest and accommodates up to 400 for a reception and includes built-in side sections for booths. At 4,400 square feet, the Malone Building accommodates up to 350 seated guests. The Burrier East Building is 2,079 square feet and accommodates 150 banquet style and 200 for a reception. Some buildings have gas heat available for an extra fee.
