Cruising Camano: The Camano Loop

This is the grand tour of virtually everything on Camano Island south of Terry’s Corner. By heading south on East Camano Drive, you pass country stores, ziplining, a golf course, two popular state parks, and enjoy forested roadways and country views. There are galleries nearby as well as artist studios and county parks. This 40-mile-long drive will fill your day with everything Camano .

Starting at Terry’s corner you head south on NE Camano Dr. Bear to the left to East Camano Dr. and you head all the way to the island’s southern tip. The road becomes South Camano Drive as it heads back north. Turn on Mountain View Road to head to the Camano Island and Cama Beach State Parks. Mountain View becomes West Camano Dr. Towards the northern end of the island the road becomes North Camano Drive before returning you back to Terry’s Corner.

There are plenty of places to hike, eat, and shop, so this loop could easily take a couple of hours, or even a couple of days.
