Cruising Camano: The Northern End
The smooth curves of the coastal roads will tempt you right away, as they hug the edges of the island and change the angle of the scenery with every passing mile. Don’t miss out on the northern coast, with routes like stunning Arrowhead Road, or Tillicum Way leading right to English Boom Trail County Park. Once a logging boom in the 1920s and 30s, this land now provides an excellent ADA walking trail and a coastal walk, too.
Utsalady Road is part rural romp and part seaside splendor, as you navigate the charming beach community overlooking Utsalady Bay. The historic Utsalady Ladies Aid building still hosts meetings and community events, carrying on the civic mission set forth by the pioneering women who formed the group in 1908.
