Whidbey Camano Land Trust: Walk and Talk Series
Join us on these free walks to connect with nature and learn about the importance of protecting critical climate resilient lands, healthy wildlife habitats, natural shorelines and family farms. Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Walking sticks, binoculars, and cameras are encouraged. Space is limited for all walks.

March 6 from 2:00-4:00pm | Keystone Farm and Forest Preserve, Coupeville
Join knowledgeable guides on a walk through this incredible property which is host to lush forest, healthy farmland, and beach lined with natural feeder bluffs.
Moderate to difficult with uneven walking terrain and extended periods of standing. Because this walk is rated moderate in difficulty, no dogs, strollers, bikes or walking aides (aside from walking sticks/poles) will be permitted.

March 8 from 10:00am-Noon | Lagoon Point Community Forest, Greenbank

Get a sneak peek at one of the Land Trust’s most exciting new projects we’re working on. This walk will highlight plant and animal biodiversity, beautiful forest scenery, the importance of this wildlife habitat corridor, and the future recreational opportunity it will offer.
Moderate – 2 miles of rolling forest trail with a few short inclines. Because this walk is rated moderate in difficulty, no dogs, strollers, bikes or walking aides (aside from walking sticks/poles) will be permitted.

Enjoy a forested stroll through more than 100 acres of protected forest near Langley. Owned and managed by Island County, with a conservation easement held by the Land Trust.
Easy to Moderate, with some uneven walking terrain and extended periods of standing.

Explore this preserve that holds some of the Country’s most breathtaking landscapes and learn about the site’s history and native flora and fauna.
Easy to moderate hike, approximate distance 1.5 miles with some tree root obstacles on trails.
