Polar Bear Plunge

Make a mad (truly mad) dash to start 2025! The annual Polar Bear Plunge is set for high noon on January 1 at Double Bluff Beach. Gather your wits, lock them in the car, and join in the fun of running into Puget Sound! Registration opens at 10:30. Benefits Island County 4-H Teen Leadership Club.
FEE – Only $10! – Fee includes coffee, cocoa, cookies, bonfires, music, and a downright festive event. Proceeds support the Island County 4-H (FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE SHIRT) – REGISTER HERE
Limited parking is available at Double Bluff. Please plan ahead for delays in parking, and expect to walk a bit down the road.
Check-in opens at 10:30 a.m.
Day-of registration opens at 10:30am. Plunge is at Noon.Â
