Camano Island is an easy trip from the Seattle-Tacoma area or Vancouver, British Columbia. The Island can be entered through the city of Stanwood and over the Camano Gateway Bridge. What’s special about Camano Island is that you don’t have to take a ferry, yet the island has this remote feel even though it’s just minutes from the freeway.
Driving Directions to Camano Island
From Seattle-Tacoma, and points south
Drive north on Interstate 5 and take exit 212 west toward Camano Island. Stay on this road and pass through Stanwood. Continue over the Camano Bridge to enter the island.
From Bellingham, Vancouver, and points north
Drive south on I-5 and take exit 212 west toward Camano Island.
